  Coutances cathedral, photographed in summer 2006. The building with the flags to the right of the shot is the Mairie (Mayor's office), and the square in front of the cathedral is the site of many events, such as being the starting point for the marching band's journey to the stadium during the Bastille Day parade on July 14th.
